You don’t need to always create a new logo or brand identity for a new project or initiative. But there are some initiatives or programs that have their own sub-brand identity and logo.
These initiatives consist of TEA’s primary or secondary colors as part of the TEA color palette, and were approved by the strategic communications team based on the following needs or criteria:
- Supports a TEA strategic priority
- Requires its own website outside of the tea.texas.gov
- Has a large external audience (1,000 or more)
- Is relevant to the education industry
If you want to inquire if a new logo or brand identity is needed for your project, submit a Service Desk ticket and select the “Develop a new logo or brand identity” option. A member of the brand and brand assets team will reach out to you for more details.
